Dark Palace started out as a black metal project in January 2020. Consisting of only two members (Lukas on guitar and Sunita on vocals) a second guitarist (Brent) was introduced in February. Due to the lockdown we couldn’t complete our lineup untill drummer (Bram) and bassist (Mike) joined September 2020. After the lineup was completed, we quickly entered the studio in November. While our initial plan was to make old school Norwegian black metal, the sound quickly turned in a mixture of black metal, death metal and some symphonic touches. We hope to refine that sound into our own style.
